Here are the newest case studies for the online journals Trade Environment Database (TED) and the Inventory of Conflict and Environment (ICE), that are announced as part of this virtual conference. The 14th Global Classroom Virtual Conference examines critical issues of trade, environment and conflict, as always, but also adds a special focus on cultural geographic indicators. The TED cases revolve around some cutting edge issues that should or will be part of the discussions at WTO negotiations known as the "Doha Round". The ICE cases look at key structural factors in the environment that are critical to the onset of conflict, including terrorism. These cases are the products of students from American University in Washington DC and Truman State Univeristy in Missouri indicated by a (T).
These includes issues of trade and agriculture, water, and energy. The ICE cases vary in history and and issue, but are a rich diversify of ideas. If you have ideas of new TED or ICE case studies, please pass them along. You can send Jim Lee comments or ideas about the papers from American Univeristy at <jlee@american.edu>. For comments on the papers from Truman State University, contact Professor Wolfgang Hoeschele at <whoesch@truman.edu>.

Below are the panels and cases that will be on display during the virtual conference. The numbers accompanying the cases indicate their numbering in the TED and ICE on-line inventories to which they will be added. In some cases, emails links are provided so that comments can be directed straight to the author. Otherwise, you may send your comments to the faculty noted above who will subsequently pass them on to the authors.
