THE UNDERGRADUATE MAJOR and
MINOR in ART HISTORY

Study abroad for the art history major

Special opportunities for art history majors include the option of a semester abroad. Many art history students take advantage of our special relationship with the programs of the American University of Rome. Through AU's World Capitals Program, they may earn up to 15 credit hours of undergraduate credit in the arts and humanities based curriculum that is offered to our students in Rome and in other world capitals.

Students who double-major in Art History along with programs, for example, in International Relations, Business and International Marketing, or Government and Public Adminstration may take a semester abroad in such cities as Brussels, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Madrid, Moscow, or Prague, where they can take courses to satisfy and complement both majors. (Click on World Capitals Program.)
