Financial Assistance
Merit awards and employment opportunities are available to MS Health Promotion Management (HPM) students. These awards and positions have helped a great number of MS students finance graduate school while providing valuable work experience. Our hope is that each student who comes to AU will have an opportunity for financial remuneration.

The MS program is closely integrated with AU's National Center for Health Fitness (NCHF), which provides leadership in comprehensive health promotion programming, international health promotion issues, and the use of technology in health promotion. NCHF program sites offer full and part-time employment and volunteer opportunities for MS students on campus and in the local community. The NCHF manages AU's William I Jacobs Fitness Center and the US Postal Service Headquarters Health Promotion Program.

Merit Awards
The Department of Health and Fitness (DHF) offers two graduate assistantships and two graduate study grant awards. To be eligible, students must either have a 3.2 GPA or a minimum GRE score of 1800 and skills in the designated area. The graduate assistantship positions are: Admissions Coordinator and Communications Coordinator. The study grant positions are: Teaching and Special Projects Coordinator and Research Assistant.
