MS in Health Promotion Management

Degree Requirements
The MS in Health Promotion Management requires a total of 40 credit hours of graduate work, including a thesis or internship option. You may transfer up to 6 credit hours of graduate study at the time you are admitted to the program. In addition, students with educational or professional experiences may apply for a waiver of certain courses up to 9 credit hours.

COMPREHENSIVE EXAMS

A comprehensive Oral examination
Completion of the oral exam is required for all MS Health Promotion Management students. The oral exam will be administered in the last week of classes in the final semester.

A comprehensive Written examination
Completion of the written exam is required only for those Health Promotion Management students who choose the in-service (internship) option. The written exam will be sent to graduating students approximately 4 weeks before the last day of classes in their final semester.
