This is an unpaid internship, however interns have the opportunity to experience first-hand the intricacies of small nonprofit management. This is an incredible learning experience, and we are happy to work with students to arrange academic credit. This is a summer internship that can extend to a two afternoon a week classroom/kitchen instructor position during the school year. Interns will receive a modest stipend. About our Organization: Founded in January 1998, Brainfood is a community-based youth development organization that uses food as a tool to build life skills with youth in a fun and creative setting. Through culinary-related activities, we strive to expand cognitive skills, encourage creativity, foster self-reliance and empower youth as resources in their own community.
