Tomorrow's leaders in health promotion are being educated at American University today. | ||||||||||||

Position: Interns Center for Health and Human Connection - a nonprofit charitable organization [501(c)(3) pending] dedicated to helping all people to have a healthy experience of life. Programs will be delivered to people in school, home, and community settings. I have attached a tentative outline of programs, though these are being amended all the time as we move forward. Mostly, we add to them. Of course, every program is in the developmental stages so interns will be those interested in being involved in a start-up operation. Though I will want to have folks invovled in numerous activities, I can also accomodate individuals looking to focus on, for example, curriculum development for low-income schools, wellness programming for school-age populations of all income, and those wishing to focus on community health programming for low-income areas. I can also happily accomodate those wishing to gain business experience - especially from a start-up perspective. Other programs - such as the home-based programs - are exciting to me and if a student fits that interest, great." You can contact Mark at markbergel@mindspring.com. |
