Position: Internships

NASPA's Health Education and Leadership Program (HELP) is currently accepting applications for the 2001 Summer Intern Position. The successful candidate will conduct research on current trends in student health and campus life, identify and review college health Internet resources, assist in the development of a collaboration plan to address student health between\ colleges/universities and local education agencies, review work to connect peer educators at the postsecondary and high school level and perform other duties as assigned.

This internship requires a 10 - 20 hour per week commitment between May and August at the NASPA national office in Washington, DC. Please indicate on your application the dates you are available to begin this assignment.

Eligible candidates should be currently enrolled in a graduate program in higher education, student affairs, public health or related area.

The following must be provided with a completed application:

1) A brief statement explaining your interest in campus student health and how working with this project will assist you in achieving your educational or career goals
