Position: Health/Marketing Communication Specialists

Rockville, MD-based company seeks a marketing communications professional to work with a team supporting several initiatives focused on reducing youth violence, substance abuse, and suicide. The team provides training and technical assistance in communications and social marketing to recipients of Federal grants as well as planning and executing national campaigns. Ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service, interpersonal, and presentation skills as well as expertise in social marketing and communications. Requires BA, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, education, psychology or related fields and at least 3 years professional experience in marketing and/or communications. Experience (volunteer or professional) working with non-profits, community-based organizations, school districts, or government agencies highly desirable. Near White Flint Metro.

Social & Health Services, Ltd, under contract to the Gallup Organization, is recruiting communications specialists to provide training and technical assistance in health communications and social marketing to recepients of Federal grant programs such as the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative (www.sshs.samhsa.gov).
