She is the author of Tinkering: American Consumers Reinvent the Automobile. An experienced public historian, Franz has done extensive work in museums and other venues as a curator, consultant, and researcher. Her most recent exhibition, "David Macaulay: The Art of Drawing Architecture," opened at the National Building Museum on June 21, 2007. |
