Our students have done internships at a variety of historical museums, institutions, and government agencies. Through their internship positions, our students have gained invaluable experience and had the opportunity to network with other historians and professionals in the community.

These are some student internships during the 2004-2005 year:

Jaime Boyle (grad) had an internship working in the education department at the National Archives.

Sean Gunn (undergrad) had an archival internship working with the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Doug Hinkle (grad) is working as a Bibliographic Research Assistant on the Handbook of North American Indians at the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum. He also worked this summer as a research assistant for a historian working on a biography project.

Linda Neylon (grad) has an internship at the National Park Service's Ford's Theater site.

Tim Nolan (grad) had an internship with the National Coalition for History.

Liz Suckow (grad) has a research internship working at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration history office.

Katie Walker (undergrad) had an internship working with historical photographs at the Sewall-Belmont House.

Holly Werner-Thomas (grad) had a paid summer internship doing an oral history project at the National Building Museum.

Rodney Young (grad) had a research internship at the National Museum of American History.
