How many credits are required for a BA/Minor in Music?

A BA in music is an excellent program for those who wish to double major: 54 credits; Minor in Music also works comfortably with other programs of study (21 credits)

What are the areas of concentration?

The areas of concentration are music performance, music composition, music theory, music history, arts management, or build your own specialized course of study.

What other opportunities do students have to participate in the program?

The AU Music Program actively supports majors, minors, and non-majors in all of its fantastic performing ensembles: AU Chorus, Chamber Singers, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Music, Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, and Pit Orchestra.
