Meet the Peer Advisors:

Samantha

Samantha is a senior. Her focus in the psychology department is in behavioral neuroscience, but she is gradually developing an interesting in evolutionary psychology. Samantha works in the university's psychopharmacology lab. Her favorite psychology classes at AU have been Psychology as a Natural Science and Neurological Basis of Behavior.

Samantha's office hours are: Tuesdays from 11:30AM-12:30PM and Thursday from 2:00-3:00PM in Asbury 102

Christie

Christie is a junior. She tends to direct her studies towards the area of neuroscience. Specifically, Christie is interested in the mechanisms that control drug addiction, reward pathways, and the neurological basis for pathological behavior. Her favorite psychology classes at AU have been Drugs and Behavior and Neurological Basis of Behavior. She is looking forward to going abroad in the fall.

Burgundy

Burgundy is a junior who, in addition to majoring in psychology, is active in the university's pre-med program. Her focus in the psychology department is in biopsychology, though she has a soft spot for social psychology. While she has enjoyed her research in drugs of abuse in the university's neuropharmachology lab, she is developing an avid interest in diseases, specifically those with a neurological basis. Her preferred choice of psychostimulant is caffeine.

Faye

Faye is a senior. Her interests are child and developmental psychology. Her favorite psychology classes at AU have been Child Psychology and Psychology of Education.
