HONORS REQUIREMENTS FOR DIFFERENT MAJORS
All Honors students must complete 12 (twelve) credits of upper-level courses (300- level and above) including the capstone. Students graduating with Honors in their major must fulfill specific capstone requirements for their major. In some majors, they must also complete designated upper-level courses in a particular sequence. An Honors Coordinator is designated for each major and reviews all capstone proposals in the major. (A different professor may serve as the Capstone Faculty Advisor.) The Honors Coordinator can also provide special guidance to Honors students.

Students graduating with general University Honors, must also meet with an Honors Coordinator to receive approval for their Honors capstone. The University Honors staff can assist you in locating an Honors Coordinator for your capstone project.
Students must fill out the Honors Capstone form prior to beginning their capstone project. Once the Capstone Faculty Advisor and the Department Honors Coordinator sign the form, the form must be turned into the University Honors office in Hurst 206.
