The Ann Ferren Teaching Conference
Ideas. Interactions. Innovations.
On Friday, January 11th, 2008 the Center for Teaching Excellence hosted the 19th Annual Ann Ferren Teaching Conference at the Katzen Arts Center. Over 300 participants attended the conference which included three sessions and 18 pedagogical discussions and technology workshops. Lunch was served and a dessert reception closed the conference.
The Plenary Session:
The plenary session took place during lunch this year, from 11:45 to 12:55. The session included a short video on good teaching techniques, and speeches by AU President Neil Kerwin and AU's 2007 Teacher of the Year, Professor Pamela Nadell.
