Small Grants
*The deadline for Spring 2008 is May 23, 2008.

*The deadline for Summer 2008 is August 14, 2008.

CTE began Small Grants in an effort to assist teaching professors with small purchases. Small Grants provides up to $100 per professor per semester for anything related to your classes. This money can be used for purchases such as food, event/museum tickets, software, books or guest lecturers for your class. Note: A CTE Small Grant is $100 per semester per teaching professor (not per class). The entire Summer Session counts as one semester for Small Grants.

You may retrieve your grant from the Faculty Corner (Hurst 204B, ext. 2734) or the Director's Office (Hurst 206D, ext. 2117).

How to get a Small Grant:

1. Complete the Small Grants form. To compensate a guest speaker, complete the 'Honorarium' section of the Small Grants form in addition to your information. Note: look below for special rules honorariums regarding foreign nationals.
2. Send (via interoffice or USPS mail) or bring the completed form with your original receipt(s) to Hurst 206D or 204B.
3. We will send (via interoffice or USPS mail) or give you a petty cash slip attached to your receipt(s). Take these to the Student Accounts office on the second floor of Asbury. (If you are unsure of the location of Asbury, please click the link, or there are maps available in Hurst 206D). If you submit an honorarium, a check will be sent to your guest speaker's address (as designated on the Small Grants form) within three to four weeks.

If mailing via USPS, please send to:
