Videoconferencing

Videoconferencing is a way to invite guest lecturers or to be one without having to pay enormous travel and lodging fees. The Hurst 203 computer lab can accomodate up to 30 students. Unfortunately, the equipment is not portable outside of the second floor of Hurst. There are many different models for videoconferencing. For example, an AU class met regularly with a counterpart class in Mexico regarding a project they were working on together.

If you are planning a videoconference please let your partner institution know of our capabilities as soon as possible. When requesting a videoconference please allow three days for preparation and testing with remote partner site. Please download and return this form for videoconferencing at CTE. Or contact Jim Lee at ext. 2285 for any further details or explanations.
