
There are many ways for you to stay connected with SIS happenings, no matter where you are in the world. From newsletters and magazines to the alumni website and online community, you will always be able to keep in touch with your alma mater and classmates.
Alumni Update
An e-newsletter sent out monthly to all AU alums who have provided us with current e-mail addresses. It contains information about current AU events, profiles notable alums working in a variety of occupations, details upcoming alumni and campus events, and other articles about international issues and the initiatives being undertaken by members of the AU community to remedy the problems facing the international community.
To begin receiving Alumni Update, please provide us with your current e-mail address by sending it to sisalum@american.edu or by clicking here to fill out the contact information update form.
Alumni Website
The alumni website can be found at http://alumni.american.edu, and is packed with all the information you need as an alum. One this site, you can find the alumni events calendar, register for events, join an alumni group, find out more about alumni benefits, and track the progress of the AnewAU campaign.
American magazine
American, the official magazine of American University, is written and designed by the University Publications division within the Office of the President. American is published three times a year, with a circulation of about 85,000. To receive American by mail, just provide us with your current mailing address. There are several ways to submit your current information:

American Today
Weekly newspaper written by students, contains information on campus life, controversies, and current issues affecting AU students. This publication can be accessed online by clicking here. Registration is required before full-length articles can be accessed, though there is no charge. American Today was fomerly called American Weekly.
Diplomatic Pouch
The Diplomatic Pouch is the official newsletter of the School of International Service, and is published twice each semester for the SIS community. InCircle
InCircle is AU's online networking community for alumni. This website allows you to reconnect with old friends, meet other alumni in your area and around the world, search job postings, and much more! Listserv
Join the alumni listserv to receive regular e-mail updates about SIS, as well as domestic and international job postings, event information, and information other campus activities and announcements of interest. Swords & Ploughshares
The official Journal of SIS, which publishes scholarly research articles by SIS graduate students and recent graduate alumni. We provide a forum for the diverse range of academic and policy interests of the various programs at SIS. Recent issues have included articles on development, globalization, United States foreign policy, and economics, as well as book reviews and interviews conducted by our staff. The Eagle
A student newspaper published twice weekly, Monday and Thursday, is now available on the internet!
