UNDERGRAD DUAL DEGREE PROGRAMS: RITSUMEIKAN UNIVERSITY

A truly unique opportunity is available through American University's School of International Service. The American University/Ritsumeikan University Dual Undergraduate Degree Program is the only one of its kind between American and Japanese Universities. You spend two years in D.C. followed by two years in Kyoto earning two Bachelor of Arts degrees.

Through the transfer of credits between Ritsumeikan University and American University, students are able to complete two BA degrees in four years. Students have advisors at each University to ensure that they complete the necessary requirements at both schools. This dynamic new program will provide you with an exciting opportunity to continue your Japanese studies and give you a broader perspective than a regular study abroad program!
