GENERAL SESSIONS- Continental breakfast
- Guided tour of campus
- Welcome address by a high ranking university official
- Review of the AU admissions process
- Academic overview and showcase by school or college
- Lunch with faculty and staff from the school of your intended major
- Student life and special academic program fair
- Meet the admissions staff
- Financing your education. The financial aid staff will explain the application process and present the options available to help finance your education.
- Life as an Eagle. Current AU students will answer the questions you really want to ask! Students only, please.
- The University College Program. Discover more about this uniquely AU living-learning community that uses Washington, D.C., as its classroom.
- The University Honors Program. Learn about the benefits and requirements of this prestigious program.

Before you travel to American University, please call the university information line at (202) 885-1100 to confirm that the university is open and that events are proceeding as scheduled. University closures are posted on the homepage.
In the event of an extreme weather event, the admissions office may cancel prior to the closure of the university. In this event, we will contact registrants via e-mail and phone as well as post a notice on the event webpage.
