Your visit to American University is like a premiere! As the V.I.P., we look forward to welcoming you to our Admissions Green Room at the Katzen Arts Center.

We developed our Admissions Green Room experience much like that found in a theatre, studio, or other public venue as a place where patrons or fans (faculty, staff, and students) may meet and greet you, the V.I.P.

We will give you the full V.I.P. treatment. We’ll offer you refreshments and talk to you about the next stage of your life. Afterwards we’ll give you a guided tour of campus.

The Admissions Green Room at the Katzen Arts Center is located on the second floor of the Katzen Arts Center located at 4400 Massachusetts Avenue, NW. For utmost convenience, we have underground parking available on the second level (P2). Simply take the elevator up to the second floor where we will greet and check you in.

The Admissions Green Room at the Katzen Arts Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are also open select Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the fall and spring.
