Transfer Applicants

We are delighted that you are considering transferring to AU.

Students who wish to be considered for transfer admission must be in good academic and social standing at the school they previously attended.

Transfer applicants who wish to be considered competitive candidates should have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50/4.00 from all schools attended. All applicants with a cumulative GPA of 2.00/4.00 or above will be considered. The following AU academic units have specific minimum GPA requirements:

  • School of Education, Teaching and Health: 2.7 (SETH is part of CAS)
  • School of Communication: 2.5
  • Kogod School of Business: 2.5
  • School of Public Affairs: 2.5
