How to Get to AU
American University is located on Ward Circle, at the intersection of Massachusetts and Nebraska Avenues, NW, in Washington, D.C. Our street address is 4400 Massachusetts Ave, NW.
We invite you to look up directions from your point of origin to campus in order to get the most efficient route for your travel.
Parking is available in the Nebraska parking lot, located on the corner of Nebraska and New Mexico Avenues, NW.
Campus is also accessible via the free AU shuttle from the Tenleytown metro stop on the Red Line. Please visit www.wmata.com for schedules, fares, and point-to-point directions.
Several Metro bus lines also run right by campus including the M4, N2, N3, N4, N6, and N8.
