There's Nothing Quite Like NYC
New York City is all city, and many Eagles make their way up here to pursue careers, network, and see the sights. Boasting one of our most active alumni chapters, NYC is a great place to share the AU spirit.
Not only is New York City home to Broadway, the Empire State Building, and perhaps the tastiest restaurants in the world, but it is also one of American University’s largest and most diverse alumni networks. Through the New York City Chapter, alumni professionals - from investment bankers to teachers - are able to participate in a diverse range of social, cultural, and professional events. Recent events have included game watching parties, happy hours, and Q&A lectures with visiting AU faculty.
Just email Suzanne Smith, SIS/BA '07, assistant director of alumni programs, with your grad information, address, phone number, and email, and you'll be plugged in to all the AU New York City Chapter activities. It's really that easy.
