October 25 will be your last chance to see the work of two local Washington, D.C., artists exhibited in the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center. Ron Haynie: Playing with Light and Paul Feinberg: Another Washington are engrossing exhibits.

Ron Haynie: Playing with Light displays Haynie's work in the painting traditions of the postmodernist era. In this exhibit, visitors can explore the ways the late American University art professor used paint as a mechanism to explore the boundaries of art.

Paul Feinberg: Another Washington consists of 71 black and white and color photos of Washington, D.C., and some of its more colorful residents over the past 35 years. These photos chronicle a more realistic side of Washington that is rarely seen by tourists.

Take time to visit these exhibits and appreciate the array of perceptions, styles, and creativity displayed.
