Any
recorded information that is created or maintained by the university
that is directly related to a particular student is part of the education
record. The academic and administrative offices of the university maintain
the following types of academic and non-academic student education records
as listed below, which are part of the education record and are considered
confidential. They may not be released without written consent of the
student or in accordance with the limited conditions described by FERPA.

Academic Records
1. Permanent record of academic performance
(transcript, including
supporting documents)
2. Academic advisor and dean's files.
3. Admission files
4. Cooperative Education and Career Planing
files (maintained by the
Career Center).
B.
Non-Academic Records
1. Financial Aid files (to include loan and
scholarship information)
2. Residential Life and Housing Services files
3. Student Activities files
4. Intercultural-International Student and Scholar Services
files
5. Alumni files
6. Student Account files
7. Library files
8. Student disciplinary files to include, but
not limited to, the complaint
form, charges, disposition (if
any), and information regarding whether
the student complied with sanctions
(if any).
