Postponed
AU led by two goals when weather ended contest
August 30, 2003
WASHINGTON — American University scored a pair of first half goals against St. Joe’s, but weather early in the second half forced the game to be postponed. The interruption came with 29 minutes left in the second half.
Senior Melissa Snyder
(Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) scored the first goal of the game off
of a rebound. AU’s second goal (scored at 9:58) came on a Tiffany
Carter (Yardley, Pa./The Hun School of Princeton) shot less than a
minute after she entered the game. Goalkeeper Laura
Miller had four saves.
The teams will schedule the conclusion of the match shortly.
