WASHINGTON — American University senior Kate Finn (Derwood, Md./Col. Zodak Magruder) was named the field hockey Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 16 after helping the Eagles hold their opponents to one goal per game at the University of Maryland Tournament. This week American heads to James Madison for a 6:30 p.m. start and opens its Patriot League schedule on Sunday with Lafayette at 11 a.m. American University,
