2003: Was one
of two sophomores to play and start in every game … took three shots
on goal against Rutgers … posted five assists for the Eagles, with
two against Colgate University on Oct. 25 … totaled 16 shots on
goal for the season … named to the Patriot League Academic Honor
Roll with a 3.76 GPA … was also honored for the second year in a
row on the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
2002: Named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division
1 National Academic Squad ... garnered spot on the Patriot League Academic
Honor Roll ... played in all 18 games ... recorded first career assist
against Davidson.
High School: Earned district, region and state team honors as both
as junior and senior … was chosen All-Daily Press three straight
years and All-Virginia Press three years … was captain in senior
season ... participated in National Futures Tournament and in Junior Olympics
… Earned 12 letters in field hockey, swimming and soccer … was
Student Council President and a member of the Key Club … inducted
into National Honor Society … participated in STAR (Student Academic
Recognition).
Personal: Daughter of Charles and Janese Maranzano … has two
brothers, Coire and Seanan … is undecided on a major.
