ISSUE, Md. - American University finished 13th out of 20 schools in the final and only round (inclement weather cancelled the first round) of the George Washington Invitational. Seth Kaplan (Dallas, Tx./J.J. Pearce) shot a 36 on the front nine and finished with a 83 overall, which was 11 in back of the lead, and good for a tie for 34th overall. Ben Hartman (Jupiter, Fla./SunCoast) finished in a tie for 42nd after he shot an 84, while Rob MacDonald was tied for 53 after shooting an 86. Phil Kief (Kingwood, Tx./Kingwood) and Chris Schieffer (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) each recorded 88’s for the day. Schieffer got off to a fast start with a 40 on the front nine. Princeton won Invitational with a team score of 309. Yale’s Neel Williams took home honors with a 73. TEAM RESULTS
