Kief Leads American After First Day of Bradford Creek Intercollegiate

| Stats Freshman Todd Shagin (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) posted a 152 after rounds of 78 and 74. He is tied for 80th while teammate Chris Schieffer (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) shot a 155. Schieffer shot a 80 in the morning round, but came back with a 75 in the afternoon. He is tied for 96th. Seth Kaplan (Dallas, Texas/J.J. Pearce) was AU's final competitor and shot a 158 (81, 77) to finish the day tied at 107th. As a team the Eagles shot a score of 611 and are 20th. Marc-Andre Roy (68-67=135) of UNC Wilmington sits atop the leader board with a two stroke advantage over UNC Greensboro's Andy Bare (137). Campbell leads the team scoring with a 566 score. The tournament is being held at the par-72, 7,151-yard Bradford Creek Golf Course in Greenville, N.C. Final round action will begin Saturday morning at 7:50 a.m. with a shotgun start.
