Kief Finishes 34th at Bradford Creek Intercollegiate
Kief shoots 75 in final round

Phil Kief led the Eagles at the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate with a final score of 221.

GREENVILLE, N.C.
- Junior Phil Kief (Kingwood, Tx./Kingwood) recorded a 75 in the final round of the Bradford Creek Invitational to lead the Eagles. Kief finished in a tie for 34th with an overall score of 221.

Freshman Todd Shagin (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood) finished just one shot behind Kief for the day after notching a 76, giving him a three-round total of 228. Shagin finished tied for 80th.

Chris Schieffer (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) added a 79 to his 155 total to finish with a 234, good for a tie at 102nd. Seth Kaplan (Dallas, Texas/J.J. Pearce) added a final round score of 77 to his score to finish at 235, which placed him in a tie for 104th

As a team the Eagles shot 917 and finished 20th. Braxton Wynns of Campbell shot a 67 in the final round and shared the individual title with UNC Greensboro's Andy Bare. Bare shot a 68 today and both finished at 205. Campbell won the team title by six strokes (852) with UNC Wilmington finishing second at 858.

The tournament was held at the par-72, 7,151-yard Bradford Creek Golf Course in Greenville, N.C. It was the ninth annual tournament.
