A very talented athelete who can play either guard postion ... will help
AU's transition game by pushing the ball up the floor and will also be
a tremendous defensive asset.
2003-04
Started in all 31 games as a freshman … was the 2003-04 Patriot
League Freshman of the year, the first American player to win the award
… led the team with 13.6 points per game, which was fifth best in
the league … also averaged four rebounds per game last year …
failed to score in double digits in only eight games and scored over 20
points five times … had 16 points, five boards, two assists and
two steals against Maryland (11/22) in his first collegiate game …
had a double-double against ETSU (12/30) with 11 points and 10 rebounds
… made eight shots from behind the arc in a 27 point effort against
Navy (1/14) which ties the second best single game three-point total in
AU history … his 15 three-point attempts against Navy (1/14), which
is tied for the highest single game attempt total for an Eagle …
played a career high 44 minutes in an overtime game against Lehigh (2/13)
… snared four offensive rebounds for eight total against Lafayette
(1/30) … had his second double-double of the season in a 15 point,
10 rebound effort against Colgate (2/22) … scored a career high
30 points on 10-for-19 shooting against Lafayette (2/28).
Before American
Named the Associated Press Group AAA Player of the Year for his
division ... he led Highland School Group AAA championship as a senior,
the first title in school history ... for the year he averaged 22.8 points
and 9.5 rebounds and was outstanding from three-point land, where he shot
49 percent ... he was a two-time selection as the Capital District Player
of the Year and First-Team All-Metro and as a senior was a First-Team
All State and First-Team All-Central Region pick ... he earned his way
onto the All-Academic Team as a senior.
