Came to American prior to the 2001-2002 season with only two years of
eligibility remaining ... hardest worker on the sqaud ... known as a slashing
wing player ... has developed into an outstanding long-distance shooter
... will be relied on to provide toughness and stability.
2001-02
Saw his first action of the season against Fairleigh Dickinson (11/24)
... knocked down two free-throws and recorded a steal in five minutes
... scored two points and pulled down a rebound in a season-high 10 minutes
of action at Radford (12/4) ... netted a career-best six points on two-of-four
shooting from three-point range at North Carolina A&T (12/7) ... also
pulled down four rebounds ... dished out a season-high two assists at
Howard (12/10).
Before American
Played club ball for Silute in Lithiania ... was coached by Robertas Kuncaitis
... Silute is the same club that Raimondas Petrauskas played for, but
they were never teammates ... averaged 14 points and eight rebounds per
game ... brother, Klemensas, plays professional basketball in Europe.
