Gives AU much-needed depth at the swing and forward positions ... a talented swing man who came from outstanding junior college and prep programs ... transferred to American from Hagerstown Community College.

2000-01
Played in 25 games with eight starts in his first season with the program ... averaged 5.3 points and 3.0 rebounds ... scored a career-high 31 points on eight-of-10 shooting from the floor and 15-of-17 from the line at Jacksonville (12/21) ... also had a career-hgih seven rebounds in that game ... had seven rebounds at West Virginia (11/21) in the season’s second game ... scored in double-figures on three other occasions ... had 15 points at William & Mary (1/31) ... also had 11 points against UNC-Wilmington (1/8) and 10 points at Bucknell (1/22) ... missed the final two games of the season with a foot injury.

Spent the 1999-2000 at Hagerstown Community College in Hagerstown, Md. ... started every contest for 24-10 HCC and was runner-up for league MVP ... averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds ... coached by Jim Brown...was rated in the Top 30 (#26) by a national recruiting service when he graduated from Mt. Zion Christian Academy in Durham, N.C., in 1997-98 ... team was considered one of the best teams in U.S. High School history with teammates that included Tracy McGrady (NBA's Orlando Magic), Travis Spivey (Utah), Max Owens (UNC) and Corey Hightower (L.A. Lakers) for the nation's No. 1 ranked team by USA Today ... played in the 1998 McDonalds High School All-American Game in Colorado Springs, Colo., broadcast on ESPN ... played for coach Joel Hopkins at MZCA ... during his junior year in 1996-97 at James River, he was named a Mr. Basketball in Virginia and was a Virginia Player of the Year honoree in 1997 ... was a Bob Gibbons' Most Valuable Player and was Second- Team All-State in 1997 ... was a 1996 AAU All-American as his AAU Team, Central Virginia, won the Under-16 AAU National Tournament in Las Vegas ... coached by Chris Cheeks (WVU Assistant).
