Jonah Fliegelman earned his 12th straight singles victory against Bucknell.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Jonah Fleigelman (Philadelphia, Pa. / Central) and the AU men's tennis team continued to dominate Patriot League foes, defeating Bucknell, 5-2, Saturday at Bucknell.

Fleigelman once again took home a singles victory for the Eagles, defeating Asher Salam, 6-4, 6-1, and extending his winning streak to 12. He also took home a doubles victory, defeating Gerald DiChiara and Aaron Saperstein with partner Ruben Rivero (Sevilla, Spain / Suffolk County Community College), helping the team sweep doubles action.

Tushar Garg (Mumbai, India / Bradenton Academy) and Andreas Kulcsar (Nuremberg, Germany/Neues Gum. Nuremberg) also picked up a doubles victory, playing in the No. 1 spot against Nick Denefrio and Matt Pikus, while Guillaume Tarralle (Paris, France / French International School) and Juancarlo Vazquez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Centre Educativo de Superior Vocational/Saint John’s) defeated Joe Menezes and Salam, 8-5, at No. 2.

The team also fared well in singles, with Tarralle taking home the win in the first position, defeating Denefrio, 6-2, 6-1, while Garg flew past DiChiara, 6-2, 6-3, in the second spot.

The men's team is now 9-4 overall and 3-0 in the Patriot League. They will next face Colgate, Sunday at noon.
