Andreas Kulcsar secured the only point for the AU men's tennis team against FAU.

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Picking up just one singles victory by senior Andreas Kulcsar (Nuremberg, Germany/Neues Gum. Nuremberg), the AU men's tennis team fell to Florida Atlantic University, 6-1, in the last match of the regular season.

Finished with regular season play, the Eagles will move on to host the Patriot League tournament starting Saturday, April 24 against Navy. The match is set to begin at 9 a.m.

Kulcsar earned the victory for the team against FAU, defeating Kevin Obletz, 6-3, 6-2, in the No. 5 position. In doubles, the Eagles were able to pick up one victory as Jonah Fliegelman (Philadelphia, Pa. / Central) and Sebastian Proisy defeated Gianfranco Dossena and Mauraico Paiz, 8-4, in the third position.

The Eagles close the regular season with a 12-7 overall record and a 5-1 Patriot League record. If the Eagles win the tournament this weekend, it will be the third year that they have taken the title and they will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.
