Finishes No. 18 in Top 25 U.S. Times
Earns distinction for long course meter 200 breaststroke
time

WASHINGTON -- Sophomore Ethan Bassett is ranked at No. 18 in the Top 25 U.S. times for the 200 meter breaststroke in 2001. Swimnews.com recently published the Top 25 World and U.S. best times for the year of 2001, and Bassett's time of 2:18.14 places him among the elite swimmers in the country in the 200 breaststroke.
American men's swimming and diving is coming off a second place in the Patriot League Championships, their inaugural league championships, held from Feb. 14-16. Junior standout Mark Liscinsky was named the Male Swimmer of the Meet while seventh-year head coach Mark Davin was selected as the Men’s Coach of the Year.
