A standout on the American swimming team the last four seasons, Frank Byskov enters his second year in the coaching ranks as an assistant coach for the Eagles. A two-time CAA Swimmer of the Year and the 1997-98 CAA Rookie of the Year, Byskov is the holder of 10 CAA titles and is coming off a stellar senior campaign in which he earned conference titles in the 1650 freestyle and the 400 and 800 free relays. A native of Viborg, Denmark, also had an impressive career in the classroom at American, boasting CSCAA Academic All-America Honorable Mention honors all three years and earning a spot on the GTE/CoSIDA At-Large Academic All-America Team as a junior. He was also named AUs Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior.
