AU posts five
top-ten finishes in Charlotte.

The AU men's and women's track teams competed at the 49er Classic in Charlotte on March 16 and had five top-ten finishers.
AU's best event was the men's 3,000 meters where the Eagles had two top-ten finishers in Sean O'Brien (So., Tilton, NH/Winnisquam) and Matt Seymour (Fr., Rockville, MD/Magruder). O'Brien took second with a time of 8:20.68 while Seymour posted a seventh place finish with a 8:24.89 mark. Jovens Colas (So., Springfield, VA/Robert E. Lee) had a strong finish in the men's 1,500 with a sixth place time of 3:55.98.
The women had two top-ten finishers in the 5,000 with Jen Baclawski (Fr., Ijamsville, MD/Urbana) in fourth place (18:03.40) and Natalia Medley (Sr., Saline, MI/Saline) in tenth (18:45.29).
The Eagles are next in action on March 31 with the men at Navy and the women at the Terrapin Invitational in College Park, Md.
