Sam Danai begins his fifth season with the Eagles as a volunteer assistant coach. Danai's responsibilities include statistical preparation and assisting in practice training.
A Dean's List student, Danai graduated from American University in 2002. He is also a graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School.
The Pittsburgh, Pa. native was named a First-Team All-City selection in volleyball and captained his team to a City League Volleyball Championship title. Named the team's Most Valuable Player, Danai was the team leader in digs.
Also a standout on the soccer field, Danai was a member of four City League Championship men's soccer teams and aided his team in earning two Pennsylvania West Open Tournament Championships.
Danai is currently
enrolled in the Washington College of Law at American University and resides
in Washington, D.C.
