WASHINGTON – American University has hired Britt King, an alumna of AU, as an assistant women’s basketball coach, new head coach Melissa McFerrin announced Monday.

King joins the Eagles after spending two seasons as the head coach of NCAA Division II Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania. She led the Lady Eagles to consecutive titles in the Carol Eckman Tournament. In addition, in her second season, King brought in a talented class of six freshmen players. ...
