Position: Assistant Coach
Experience: First Season

Kendra-Marie King begins her first season as an assistant coach for the American women’s lacrosse team after stints as a head coach at Mount Saint Mary's and an assistant coach at Towson University.

King comes to American from Towson University, where she spent two seasons as an assistant coach. She was responsible for all aspects of recruiting, fundraising and administrative duties while with the Tigers.

Prior to her time at Towson, King spent one season as the Head Coach of Mount Saint Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Md. King also served as the Head Coach of the Woodbridge (Va.) High School varsity girls lacrosse team in the 2000 season, compiling a 10-2 record.

King played four years at Virginia Tech, and is the Hokies' all-time career leader in blocks/interceptions/caused turnovers. She continues to play lacrosse at an elite level with Team Toyota, participating in several of the nation's most prestigious post-collegiate tournaments, including the Vail Shootout, the Ocean City Lacrosse Classic and the Lake Placid Tournament.

King is single and resides in Springfield, Va.
