Hoffer continues to dominate in dual competition this year and sits
with a 6-0 dual mark so far this season. Facing Jim Berringer of James
Madison, Hoffer notched a 15-7 major decision to earn four team points.
On Tuesday, Jan. 14, InterMat ranked Hoffer at No. 13 in the nation at
149 lbs. For James Madison,
sophomores Jeremy Rankin (174 lbs.) and Steve Kodish (197 lbs.) registered
pins to highlight the Dukes' non-conference win. Junior 133-pounder Jon
Huesdash picked up a technical fall at 133 lbs., while 184-pounder Dave
Colabella and 165-pounder Seth Cameron each came away with major decisions.
