Cael Sanderson and Pat Smith to be Featured at the First Annual Coach's Clinic
Clinic will be held November 14 & 15

WASHINGTON -- The AU wrestling team is pleased to announce the first annual fall coaching clinic on November 14 and 15. Pat Smith and Cael Sanderson, two of the greatest college wrestling will be in attendance helping out and giving valuable coaching advice to both coaches and athletes. Four-time All-American and NCAA Champion Kelly Ward will also be in attendance.

The clinic will begin on Friday morning at 8 a.m. with sessions specially designed for coaches on strength and conditioning, nutrition, sports psychology and team management. There will also be a short question and answer period with four-time national champions Smith and Sanderson. The day will conclude with a coaches social from 7-11 p.m.

Wrestlers of all age, sex, and skill level are welcome to join the coaches on Saturday with classes specifically designed to improve and refine technique. Registration for both days will begin promptly at 8 a.m.

USA Wrestling will also be selling USAW coaches cards and giving NECP copper level certifications to all coaches in attendance.
