Daniel Waters to be Featured on NCAA On-Campus
Former Navy SEAL's story to be told on national television

Daniel Waters has been chosen to be featured on NCAA On-Campus.

WASHINGTON – American University wrestler Daniel Waters (Laurel, Del./Penn State) will be featured on NCAA On-Campus, a thirty-minute monthly program produced by Fox Sports Net. The program will be shown on Comcast Sports, Saturday, April 17 at 6 p.m.

Before coming to American, Waters spent six years as a Navy SEAL, one of the most powerful and elite commando forces in the United States Military. In his first season as an Eagle, he made an immediate impact on the mats, both in the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) and the nation, leading his weight class (184) in wins throughout the season.

Hosted by Patrick O’Neal, Sage Steele and Yolanda Vazquez, On-Campus features NCAA student-athletes and the stories behind them. Waters’ feature will air twice over the weekend, with the second broadcast, Sunday April 18 at 11:30 p.m.

American University, which fields a 19-sport NCAA Division I athletics program featuring 10 women’s sports and nine for men, completed its third year of membership in the Patriot League. Since joining the Patriot League, the University has captured league championships in men’s cross country, women’s cross country, women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s tennis, women’s tennis and women’s volleyball, field hockey and two regular-season titles in men’s basketball.
