American University does not offer a civil engineering degree, but it does have formal arrangements with both the University of Maryland at College Park and Washington University (in St. Louis, Missouri), which allow you to complete three years of liberal arts study followed by two years in a professional program resulting in two bachelors' degrees or a bachelor's and a master's degree.
