The Consortium Loan Service is an interlibrary loan service of the Washington Research Libraries Consortium (WRLC), of which AU is a member. Researchers can request book and articles directly from the ALADIN catalog. CLS is available to all staff, faculty and currently enrolled students of the WRLC libraries. These libraries include in the consortium include, besides AU: Catholic University, George Mason University, George Washington University, Georgetown University, Marymount University, University of the District of Columbia, and Trinity. This service can be used when an item is not available in the American University library. Once ordered, an item usually takes 3-5 days to arrive.
