• Purchasing items from the on campus vending machines
• Accessing Meal Swipes from your Meal Plan
• Gaining access to the Fitness Centers on campus
• Borrowing books and tapes from the Bender Library
• Printing from the on campus computer labs and copying machines
Do not lose your ID card; it will cost you $20 to replace. In the event that your ID Card is lost or stolen, you can notify Housing and Dining Programs by calling 202-885-3370 or by emailing idcards@american.edu to place a freeze on your account. Please include your name, AU ID Number, and the request to put a stop on your account in the email.
You can also submit a photo of yourself online to be used for your ID. Just log into your my.american.edu portal and click on “Life@AU” and then “ID Card Information.”
