The Music Library is a wonderful resource for all American University students and faculty. With over 15,000 scores including historical sheet music, 4,800 compact discs, 30,000 LP recordings, and selected reference works, the Music Library has music from all genres, for all tastes. With a special emphasis on academic programs in music, the Music Library nevertheless provides material for recreational use as well. In addition to the music collection, the Music Library also offers individual and small group listening stations for analog and digital formats including compact disc, LP, cassette, reel to reel, and streaming. Located on the first floor of the Katzen Arts Center, the Music Library is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 202.885.3264 or visit the website at http://www.library.american.edu/about/music/index.html
