SAT II Subject Tests are optional, but recommended for placement purposes should you be admitted to AU. If you plan to continue studying a foreign language, we recommend that you submit the results of a foreign language SAT Subject Test. The SAT II Subject Test in mathematics (Level I or II) is recommended, as a score of 650 in Math II will fulfill the AU mathematics competency requirement. Home-schooled applicants should take at least three SAT II Subject Tests, including one in mathematics. Advanced Placement Tests scores may also be sent by the testing agency to AU Admissions. Please note that our institutional code numbers for the SAT and SAT II Subject Tests is 5007.
